Hard Boiled eggs in 2 mins


Did you know you dont have to boil the eggs for entire 10 mins to get them cooked? You can get the result by boiling eggs only for just 2 minutes.You will get the desired hard boiled eggs.
This is a short recipe to boil eggs that works wonders every time! As long as you follow the directions for room temperature or chilled eggs you can't fail.
It's important to adjust the cooking time based on the condition of the egg.

Ingredients
4 eggs
1 tbsp salt
Water for boiling eggs
Cold water (to immerse boiled water )

Method on how long to boil eggs?

  1. In a pan place eggs carefully
  2. Add water until all the eggs are immersed completely 
  3. Add salt and keep the flame on high

  4. Once the water starts boiling, start timer and cook eggs only for 2 minutes

  5. Switch off the flame cover the pan with a lid and let it rest for 15 minutes.

  6. Open the lid & transfer all the eggs in cold water. This will help the shell to slip right off

  7. There you have it. Hard boiled eggs!

Note :
If the eggs are just out of the fridge, boil them for 3 minutes. In room temperature cook eggs only for 2 minutes

Egg Bhuna Masala / Anda MasalaEgg bhuna masala recipe

This is one of my and my better half's favorite recipe. Egg bhuna masala is a special Dhaba style Indian dish which is full of flavors. Onion, tomatoes and combination of spices makes this dish delicious and aromatic. There are several ways of making Egg masala, this is one of my personal favorite which I am sure you'll will love it too. Do give it a try, and if you do please leave a comment below.


Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serves : 3 - 4 pax

Ingredients

5 hard boiled eggs
2 tbsp Mustard oil/Any refined oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Bay leaf
1 piece of cinnamon stick
2-3 green cardamom
3-4 cloves
1/2 tsp Peppercorns
2 Dry red chilli
2 medium sized Onion paste
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
2 medium sized Tomato puree
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander Powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Fennel seed powder
1/2 cup Milk
2 green chilli
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
Kasuri Methi/Dry Fenugreek leaves
Garnish with Coriander leaves

Method

  • Hard boil 5 eggs and make a slit on the same
  • In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and fry these eggs until the crust turns brown
  • In the same pan, crackle cumin seeds and then add whole garam masalas, saute them for 2 mins
  • Next add Onion paste and saute them until they turn dark brown in colour
  • Now at this stage add tomato puree and salt, close the lid and let them cook until oil starts oozing out
  • Once oil start to ooze out add dry masala's and green chilli (turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chilli powder and fennel powder)
  • Add little water and saute all the masala's well
  • At this stage switch off the flame and then add milk, keep stirring continuously
  • Once milk is mixed well with the masala switch on the flame and cook for 2 minutes
  • Next add fried Eggs and coat them well with all the massala's
  • Finally add Garam masala and kasuri methi, cover and cook for 2 more minutes
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti/chapati, paratha or naan

Note:

  • I have used milk to make the consistency of the gravy more creamy. You can also add cream or cashew nut powder
  • Ensure to add milk after switching off the flame or else it may cuddle
  • Please adjust the spice level as per your taste

A very easy to cook boiled egg dish which anyone can try.
Spiced up with onions, tomatoes, chillis and so on. Can enjoy this mouth watering dish with Pav, chapati, paratha or as a side dish with rice.

Boiled Egg Sabji/Bhurji
Anda Bhurji Boiled
Stove to Serve Time: Approx 15 mins

Ingredients:

4 hard boiled eggs (cut medium sized cubes)
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp Cumin seed
2 Green chillies
Curry leaves
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 big sized Onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 Medium size Tomato (finely chopped)
1 tsp Garam Masala
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves

Method:

1.       Take a pan , heat oil in medium flame. Once oil is heated add cumin seeds,green chillis, curry leaves, turmeric powder,add onions and sauté it until onion turns golden brown
2.        Now add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, salt as per taste & stir well.
3.       Cover and cook this masala for 2-3 mins
4.       Add garam masala, give it a nice mix
5.       Finally add 4 hard boiled eggs cut into medium sized cubes. Cook for about 1 min

Serving- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serves 2-3 Pax.

Instant Noodles with scrambled eggs and some spices. 
Dark Soya sauce will give a beautiful colour to our noodles while freshly grounded pepper will add a spice to it stimulating digestion.

Egg Maggie Recipe  
Stove to Serve Time: Approx 4-5 mins

Ingredients
2 packet Maggie Noodles
3 Eggs
1 tbsp Soya Sauce
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp Pepper Powder
1 tbsp Oil (Any cooking Oil)
Salt to taste

Method

  1. Break three eggs in a bowl
  2. Add salt & Pepper
  3. Whisk  well
  4. Heat some oil in a pan, pour the above mixture in it. Scramble the eggs.
  5. Once eggs are cooked take it out in a vessel
  6. Now pour 2 cups of water in the same pan, get it to boiling point. Add Maggie to it.
  7. After 2 mins add Soya sauce & Tomato ketchup. Mix them well.
  8. In the end add scrambled egg , cook it for 1 more minute.
  9. Now its ready to be served
Serving: Serve hot with some tomato ketchup.  
Serves 2-3 Pax.
